dc.description	This article is divided into three quite different sections. The first distinguishes between three mythical, individual and collective. The second ‒the longest, entitled “the archives of biographical memory” ‒ presents a wide-ranging overview of the leading initiatives the journey starts in Poznan ‒Poland‒ in the 1920s and ends at the Archive of Grief, created in Madrid after the terrorist attack of 11 March 2004. The last section provides a brief reflection on the fragile or inexistent role that anthropologists play in the burning issue of policies of historical memory in Spain.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo está dividido en tres partes bien diferenciadas. En la primera el autor establece una distinción entre tres tipos de memoria: la mítica, la individual y la colectiva. En la segunda parte ‒la más extensa y titulada “los archivos de memoria biográfica” ‒ se presenta una amplia panorámica de las iniciativas más importantes que se han producido sobre el tema: el recorrido se inicia en Poznan ‒Polonia‒ en los años 20 del siglo XX y finaliza en el Archivo del Duelo, creado en Madrid a raíz del atentado terrorista del 11 de marzo de 2004. En la última parte, el autor esboza una breve reflexión sobre el frágil o nulo papel que antropólogos y antropólogas juegan en el tema candente de las políticas de la memoria histórica en España.	es-ES
