| dc.description | En este trabajo, presentamos las primeras indagaciones en torno al inicial proceso de institucionalización de laboratorios en la universidad destinados a la enseñanza experimental de la química. Para ello, analizamos la creación y consolidación del primer laboratorio universitario vinculado a la química perteneciente a la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), durante el período 1823-1865. Para esta finalidad, adoptamos una perspectiva sociohistórica que integra los espacios macro y micro atravesados por los planos sociales y cognitivos a partir de los siguientes ejes de análisis: a) las condiciones sociales e institucionales que posibilitaron el establecimiento de la enseñanza experimental de la química, b) las trayectorias académicas de los primeros profesores, y c) los contenidos y prácticas de enseñanza y el papel y significado asignado al laboratorio. Mostramos que en este laboratorio los experimentos tuvieron una función pedagógica. AbstractThis work research shows the first inquiries about the initial process of institutionalization of laboratories for teaching chemistry experimental in Argentina. We analyzed the creation and consolidation of the first university laboratory found in the creation of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), during the period 1823-1865. For this purpose we adopted a socio-historical perspective that integrates macro and micro spaces traversed by social and cognitive levels from the following analysis axes: a) the social and institutional conditions that made possible the establishment of teaching chemistry experimental, b) the trajectories academics of the first teachers of chemistry, and c) the content and practices of the teaching and the role and significance assigned to the laboratory. The results of this work research shows that the first laboratory for teaching chemistry experimental had a pedagogical function.
