| dc.description | This article presents research results of independent publishing practices in the Mexican publishing field of the 21st century. Based on the results of a survey applied to 36 projects identified with this type of publishing, aspects such as editorial structure, economic capital, distribution, marketing and relationship with other actors in the field are studied, with the aim of making a characterization at group level. This characterization allows us to outline what the independence of these actors consists of in a practical sense, what they share and how they differ, in order to reach a better understanding of the phenomenon of current independent publishing as a hierarchical criterion of the Mexican publishing field. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo presenta los resultados de investigación sobre prácticas de edición independiente en el campo editorial mexicano del siglo XXI. A partir de los resultados de una encuesta aplicada a 36 proyectos identificados con este tipo de edición se estudian aspectos como estructura editorial, capital económico, distribución, comercialización y relación con otros actores del campo, con el objetivo de hacer una caracterización a nivel grupal. Dicha caracterización permite perfilar en qué consiste la independencia de estos actores en un sentido práctico, qué comparten y en qué se diferencian, para llegar a una mejor comprensión del fenómeno de la edición independiente actual como criterio de jerarquización del campo editorial mexicano. | es-ES |
