| dc.description | The article is a partial product of a study on emotions and society held at the Universidad Antonio Narino. We sought to illustrate how resentment can stimulate the specific social relations and democracy. To do this, after a theoretical reflection, are two examples: the relationship between a journalist and President Alvaro Uribe, and the corruption and public opinion in the case of “Agroingreso Seguro” (as government policy to support the agricultural sector). From a qualitative data analysis documentary notes how resentment can provoke revenge actions that become a “public control” over the actors, how this feeling can be channeled to increase social solidarity and thus how they can be used to potentiate the action in politics, democracy and citizenship. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo corresponde a un producto parcial de un estudio sobre emociones y sociedad realizado en la Universidad Antonio Nariño. Se buscó ejemplificar cómo el resentimiento puede dinamizar las relaciones sociales y en específico la democracia. Para ello, después de una reflexión teórica, se dan dos ejemplos: la relación entre un periodista y el presidente Alvaro Uribe y la corrupción y la opinión pública en el caso de Agroingreso Seguro (como política gubernamental de apoyo al sector agrícola). A partir de un análisis cualitativo de datos documentales se constata cómo el resentimiento puede suscitar acciones de venganza que se tornan en un “control público” sobre los actores, cómo este sentimiento se puede canalizar para aumentar la solidaridad social y por ende cómo puede ser utilizada para potencializar la acción política, la democracia y el ejercicio de la ciudadanía. | es-ES |
