dc.description	This article aims to contribute to the visibility of unknown actors of regional history in northern Chile , by analyzing documentary sources literal and logical approach , they are presented the functions accomplished by the visitors of schools as agents of educational planned action from the State and as a mechanism of political and social control, during the period of military integration in the area of Arica (1880) and its annexation to the Chilean sovereignty (1929), all this marked by a process of national historiography known as " Chilenización".	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo pretende, aportar a la visibilidad de actores desconocidos de la historia regional del norte de Chile, mediante el análisis de fuentes documentales, método literal y lógico, presentando las funciones que cumplían los visitadores de escuelas como agentes de laacción educatica planificada desde el Estado y como mecanismo de control político y social, durante el período comprendido entre la incorporación militar de la zona de Arica, (1880) y su anexión a la soberanía chilena(1929), marcado por un proceso que la historiografía nacional conoce como “Chilenización”.	es-ES
