| dc.description | La educación musical de la mujer en Bogotá se desarrolló de dos formas: Informalmente, pagando a un profesor que iba a domicilio a enseñar, y formalmente, cuando la Academia Nacional de Música abrió una sección para señoritas en 1887. Así nació una nueva profesión para la mujer.La educación musical fue discriminatoria, ya que solo las señoritas de clase social alta tuvieron acceso a la Academia. Las mujeres negras e indias no tuvieron acceso a ningún tipo de educación formal.WOMAN S MUSICAL EDUCATION IN BOGOTÁ, FROM 1880 TO 1920It was developed in two ways: Informally, girls and ladies took music lessons at home, paying a teacher. Formally, as the National Music Academy opened a women section in 1887. Then, a new woman profession was born.Music education was discriminative, since only women belonging to high social class could enter the Academy.
