dc.description	O Guerreiro é um dos vários folguedos existentes no Estado de Alagoas. A princípio, foi classificado como auto natalino, no entanto, pode ser manifestado no decorrer do ano. O Guerreiro é considerado pelos mestres e brincantes uma brincadeira católica, possuindo cinco partes principais: Abertura de Sede, Louvação ao Divino, Peças, Embaixadas e Despedidas. Cada brincante é responsável por um personagem, sendo encontrados nesta pesquisa: Rainha, Palhaço, Mateus, Lira, Embaixadores e as figuras, além do mestre e do contramestre. Este estudo etnográfico teve como interesse conhecer a realidade de dois grupos de Guerreiros, localizados na cidade de Maceió/AL. Os objetivos foram analisar como mestres e brincantes organizam internamente esta brincadeira e como se estabelecem as relações dos grupos com a sociedade, através do Registro do Patrimônio Vivo e dos convites públicos de eventos e apresentações. Procuro, neste trabalho, conhecer e refletir sobre como esse folguedo se organiza na contemporaneidade, seus valores simbólicos e seus compromissos. O estudo dos Guerreiros a partir de sua organização interna, através de meu convívio com os sujeitos envolvidos na pesquisa, me fez conhecer e refletir sobre as decisões, desafios e interações cotidianas do folguedo.

dc.description	Guerreiro is one of the many existing folguedos in Alagoas. At first it has been classified as a Christmas auto, although it may be manifested along the rest of the year. Guerreiro is considered by the masters and brincantes as a catholic brincadeira, possessing five main parts: Opening of the Headquartes, Worship to the Divine, Plays, Embassies and Farewells. Each brincante is responsible for a character, could be found in this research: the Queen, the Clown, Mateus, Lira, the Ambassadors and the figures, as well as the master and quartermaster. This ethnographic study took as interest getting to know the reality of two Guerreiro groups, located in the city of Maceió/AL. The objectives of this research were to analyse how the masters and brincantes do internally organize this brincadeira and how the relations between the groups and the society are established, through the Register of Living Patrimony and the public invitations to events and presentations. I aim, with this work, to know and to reflect about how this particular folguedo organizes on contemporaneity, what are its symbolic values and its commitments. The study of the Guerreiros from their internal organization, through my acquaintance with the subjects involved in this research, made me to get to know and to reflect about the decisions, challenges and daily interactions of this folguedo.
