This review aims to analyze the documentary "Sarau da Onça - Poesia da Quebrada" directed by Vinícius Eliziário, filmmaker from Salvador, as well as reflect on the theme presented revealing the importance of cultural and educational initiatives, such as Sarau da Onça, in the peripheries of Salvador, often unknown to tourists and the population and stigmatized by the media as "violent places". The documentary was awarded several themes, including: Best Film at the XI Festival Visões Periféricas in 2017; Best Film at XIV Panorama Internacional Cinema Thing and Best Interpretation at the I Festival Mimoso de Cinema, in 2018.Essa resenha tem como objetivo analisar o documentário "Sarau da Onça - Poesia da Quebrada" dirigido por Vinícius Eliziário, cineasta soteropolitano, bem como refletir sobre o tema apresentado revelando a importância de iniciativas culturais e educacionais, como o Sarau da Onça, nas periferias de Salvador, muitas vezes desconhecidas pelos turistas e população e estigmatizadas pela mídia como "lugares violentos". O documentário foi premiado com diversos temas, entre eles: Melhor Filme no XI Festival Visões Periféricas em 2017; Melhor Filme no XIV Panorama Internacional Coisa de Cinema e Melhor Interpretação no I Festival Mimoso de Cinema, em 2018.
