| dc.description | This articJe surveys the more interesting characteristics of a process that produced a rudirnentary combination of formal schooling and informal education which was established between masters and pupils in a semi-isolated community. For the school to work, it was necessary to adjust the curriculum and the procedures of formal education to a radically different traditional process of acquisition and transmission of knowledge in which play exercises a fundamental social and pedagogical function. Although it does not indistinctly serve as a referential model - among other reasons, because it deals with a specific cultural stronghold with very special characteristics - it is important to observe the exemplar way that parents, teacher and children interfere in school work, valorizing the curriculum with their conceptions of life, history and beliefs. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artigo traça os contornos mais marcantes do processo que resultou em uma espécie rudimentar de casamento entre a formalidade do ensino escolar e a informalidade do trabalho educativo estabelecido entre mestre e aprendizes, em uma comunidade semi-isolada. Para a escola funcionar, foi preciso ajustar o conteúdo e os procedimentos da educação formal a um processo tradicional, radicalmente diferente, de aquisição e transmissão de conhecimentos - em que as brincadeiras exercem uma função social e pedagógica fundamental. Embora não sirva indistintamente como modelo referencial- entre outros motivos, por se tratar de um reduto cultural especifico, com caracteristicas bastante particulares - é importante observar o modo exemplar com que pais, professoras e crianças, interferem no trabalho na escola, valorizando seu conteúdo, a partir da sua concepção de vida, sua história e crenças. | pt-BR |
