dc.description	Este artículo pretende ofrecer mirada sobre el constitucionalismo latinoamericano que, por un lado, enfrenta la idea de la Constitución como expresión de la racionalidad, a aquella otra que la concibe principalmente como una expresión de la voluntad popular. Y por el otro lado, enfrenta la idea de que el desarrollo económico en la región se debe dar en la vía que traza el norte global. Se parte de la hipótesis de que estas tensiones no se resuelven del todo en América Latina. Este trabajo parte del debate del término “constitucionalismo abusivo” propuesto por David Landau para mostrar su efecto en momentos de transición democrática sobre algunos países de la región con regímenes autoritarios.	es-ES
dc.description	This article aims to provide perspective on the Latin American constitutionalism, on the one hand, facing the idea of the Constitution as an expression of rationality, different than that conceived primarily as an expression of popular will. And on the other side, facing the idea that economic development in the region should be given in the pathway that traces the global north. It is assumed that these tensions are not resolved completely in Latin America. This work part of the debate of the term “abusive constitutionalism” proposed by David Landau to show its effect in times of democratic transition on certain countries in the region with authoritarian regimes.	en-US
