| dc.description | This text seeks to clarify the notion of dwelling, in order to understand what to inhabit the city is and means. Throughout this article it is noticed that beyond occupying a space, to dwell is to live it in a creative, symbolic and free manner, and points out as fundamental elements of living the «care», the «protection», the «rooting» and the «meeting». These elements allow us to understand that dwelling is an ethos and cities are the manifestation of our way of expressing our desires and interests for ourselves, for others and for the things that surround us, and because of this, the city is inhabited when we make citizenship, and embody our socio-political and economic relations, which are reflected in the architectural and urban forms of cities. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este texto se busca ahondar en la noción del habitar para comprender qué es habitar la ciudad. A lo largo de este artículo se advierte que más allá de ocupar un espacio, habitar es vivirlo de forma creativa, simbólica y libre, y señala como elementos fundamentales del habitar el «cuidado», el «amparo», el «arraigo» y el «encuentro». Estos elementos permiten comprender que habitar es un ethos y las ciudades son la manifestación de nuestra forma de expresar nuestros deseos e intereses por nosotros mismos, por los demás y por las cosas que nos rodean, por esto, se habita la ciudad cuando se hace ciudadanía, y se encarnan nuestras relaciones sociopolíticas y económicas, que se reflejan en las formas arquitectónicas y urbanas de las ciudades. | es-ES |
