| dc.description | The paper discusses the different dimensions present in the debt negotiation process and which act in the subjective reconfiguration of indebted subjects. Through the theoretical framework that includes social drama (Turner) and ritual (Peirano), in addition to the ethnographic approach carried out at the Mediation Center - an initiative of the Court of Justice of Rio Grande do Sul, National Council of Justice (CNJ) and other public institutions - it was possible to perceive that the debts negotiated, as well as their meanings, tension moral, social and economic criteria. At the same time, when seeking the legal sphere, the subjects are aware of a code that defends them, as consumers, in their dignity, when using, in their own way, the notions of justice and citizenship. | en-US |
| dc.description | O artigo problematiza as diferentes dimensões presentes no processo de negociação de dívidas e que atuam na reconfiguração subjetiva dos sujeitos endividados. Por meio do arcabouço teórico que inclui drama social (Turner) e ritual (Peirano), além da abordagem etnográfica realizada junto à Central de Mediação – uma iniciativa do Tribunal de Justiça do Rio Grande do Sul, Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ) e de outras instituições públicas – foi possível perceber que as dívidas negociadas, bem como seus significados, tensionam critérios morais, sociais e econômicos. Ao mesmo tempo, ao buscarem a esfera legal, os sujeitos se mostram cientes de um código que os defende, enquanto consumidores, em sua dignidade, ao utilizarem, a sua maneira, as noções de justiça e de cidadania. | pt-BR |
