| dc.description | O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar a gênese do conceito de capital social e sua evolução através do século XX. A partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica esse estudo investiga alguns autores e obras que ao longo do tempo apresentaram concepções sobre o que é capital social. Para o desenvolvimento dessa pesquisa partiu-se da proposição de que o conceito teve certa notoriedade, na década de 1990, e depois passou por um aviltamento. Os resultados levam a crer que capital social é uma concepção que não pode ser simplificada, já que além de expressar certa forma de organização da sociedade civil foi também objeto de apreciação de autores pertencentes a diversas correntes teóricas. Os trabalhos mais recentes sobre o tema parecem indicar para a crítica à teoria de capital social de Robert Putnam na medida em que há uma reconsideração do papel do Estado na promoção do associativismo. | pt-BR |
| dc.description | The objective of this paper is to present the genesis of the social capital concept and its evolution through the twentieth century. From a bibliographical research, this study investigates some authors and works that over time presented conceptions about what is social capital. For the development of this research, we started with the proposition that the concept had certain notoriety in the 1990s and then went through a debasement. The results suggest that social capital is a concept that cannot be simplified because, in addition to expressing some form of civil society organization, was also the subject of appreciation by authors from diverse theoretical perspectives. The most recent studies on the subject seem to indicate criticism to the theory of social capital by Robert Putnam in that there is a reconsideration of the role of the state in promoting associativism. | en-US |
