dc.description	Teve-se como objetivos neste trabalho analisar aspectos referentes à subordinação dos cortadores de cana aos capitais agroindustriais e financeiros, à causa da dependência por políticas sociais e à indagação sobre a contribuição para o êxodo rural e o crescimento não planejado da população urbana. Para a análise utilizou-se pesquisa bibliográfica de artigos, livros, revistas, entre outros, além da pesquisa in situ nas usinas canavieiras e sindicatos de trabalhadores rurais. O problema da alta taxa de desemprego dos cortadores só tende a piorar se soluções mais eficientes não forem tomadas.	pt-BR
dc.description	The goal of this paper is to analyze aspects related to the subordination of sugarcane farm workers to the agro-industrial and financial capital, the dependence this population on social policies and the question about the contribution to the rural exodus and the unplanned growth of the urban population. For the analysis we used bibliographic research of articles, books and magazines. In addition, we performed a field research in sugarcane usines and rural workers unions. The problems of high unemployment amog them only tends to get worse if more efficient solutions are not taken.	en-US
