| dc.description | The present study approaches ‘the information and the decision process in the area of public politics: the initiative of the Department of Finance of the State of Ceará – SEFAZ’. The option for doing such study came from the interest and professional background of the author in the areas of Business Administration and Computer Science. This background made it possible for her to participate in the process of building the Inspection Datamart, which is part of the Data Warehouse project from the Department of Finance and experience the management conduction of institutional projects of this Secretary, through their activities developed in the Institutional Development Advisement (ADINS). The study aims at showing how to use, at the already mentioned institution, the Data Warehouse technology as a tool to support the decision process in the management of the Department of Finance of the State of Ceará. (SEFAZ). The study is based on a bibliographical research about some authors such as Bresser Pereira (1997; 1998), Castells (1999), Drucker (2002), Ralph Kimball (1998), William Inmon (1997). Concepts related to Data Warehouse Technology were used, always aiming at conceptualizing and permitting the understanding of this technical subject, focused on the Secretary environment. It also aims at collaborating with the detailed explanation of its pilot project, focused on the technological modernization of SEFAZ, aiming at a better service to the citizens. The final result of the study highlights the existence of a tax exoneration policy, through studies and analysis from the GTAE Group, which uses the DW technology as its main work tool. | en-US |
| dc.description | Aborda-se neste estudo, ‘a informação e o processo decisório no âmbito das políticas públicas: as iniciativas da Secretaria da Fazenda do Estado do Ceará – SEFAZ’. A opção por este estudo resultou do interesse e formação profissional daautora nas áreas de Administração e Informática, o que a possibilitou participar do processo de construção do Datamart da Fiscalização, parte integrante do projeto de Data Warehouse da Secretaria da Fazenda e de vivenciar a condução da gestão de projetos institucionais dessa Secretaria, através das suas atividades desenvolvidas na Assessoria de Desenvolvimento Institucional (ADINS). O objetivo do trabalho é mostrar como se utiliza, na instituição pesquisada, a tecnologia Data Warehouse como uma ferramenta de apoio ao processo decisório na gestão da Secretaria da Fazenda do Estado do Ceará (SEFAZ). O estudo está fundamentado em pesquisa bibliográfica em alguns autores como Bresser Pereira (1997; 1998), Castells (1999), Drucker (2002), Ralph Kimball (1998), William Inmon (1997). Utilizaram se, também, os conceitos referentes à Tecnologia de Data Warehouse, sempre com o objetivo de conceituar e proporcionar o entendimento deste assunto técnico, voltado ao ambiente da Secretaria, procurando colaborar com o detalhamento do seu projeto-piloto, voltado à modernização tecnológica da SEFAZ, visando a beneficiar o cidadão. O resultado final do estudo ressalta a existência de uma política de desoneração fiscal, através de estudos e análises do Grupo GTAE, o qual utiliza a tecnologia DW, como sua principal ferramenta de trabalho. | pt-BR |
