| dc.description | This study brings with it the task of identifying the participatory strategic planning is a tool that contributes to institutional development, in that upper management realizes the importance of this process and how it will help define strategies and policies teaching, research and extension with the participation of senior management and the community. As a general objective, identifies the participatory strategic planning developed at the University of Pará - UEPA the period 2005-2009 enabled the definition of institutional objectives and contributed to the promotion of institutional development. | dc.description | Este estudo traz em seu bojo a tarefa de identificar se o planejamento estratégico participativo é um instrumento que contribui para o desenvolvimento institucional, na medida em que a administração superior perceba a importância desse processo e de como ele vai auxiliar a definição de estratégias e de políticas de ensino, pesquisa e extensão com a participação da gestão superior e da comunidade. Como objetivo geral, identifica se o planejamento estratégico participativo desenvolvido na Universidade do Estado do Pará - UEPA no período de 2005 a 2009 possibilitou a definição dos objetivos institucionais e contribuiu para a promoção do desenvolvimento institucional. Ao final, infere-se que a implantação de um planejamento estratégico na instituição pesquisada possibilitou a definição dos objetivos institucionais e contribuiu para a promoção do desenvolvimento institucional. | pt-BR |
