dc.description	This work is carried out to identify and analyze the most recurrent phonetic deficiencies that students and future professors of the Foreign Languages program of the Universidad del Atlántico perform when communicating in French. In addition, it is intended to identify the possible reasons for these frequent errors in the speech of undergraduates, even in advanced semesters and also graduates. Once identified, it is planned to create a mechanism that allows the handling of these errors. In addition, these results will be shared with the professors of the French department to make them aware of this issue and begin to generate changes for future generations of graduates. This population was subjected to different stages: observation, carrying out activities to identify phonemes with a tendency to fossilize, a questionnaire that seeks that they themselves give their point of view on what are their biggest gaps in the pronunciation of French, the application of the method corrective for the same and, finally, a final evaluation to identify if there are any improvement. Most of the errors are the differentiation between the phonemes / b / - / v /, / s / - / z / and the correct pronunciation of the nasal vowels / ã / - / ɛ / - / ɔ ̃ ̃ /. On the other hand, deficiencies were observed in the correct use of the liaison. Likewise, 50% of the students confirm that these errors are due to the lack of teaching of phonetics in the Foreign Languages program of the Universidad del Atlántico. It is concluded that phonetics is a branch of the language that must be taught to improve the pronunciation of foreign language students and some interactive cards are shared with teachers so that their students can work on these phonemes from the first semesters, thus avoiding future fossilizations.	en-US
dc.description	Este trabajo está diseñado con el objetivo de identificar y analizar las deficiencias fonéticas más recurrentes que presentan los docentes en formación del programa de Lenguas Extranjeras de la Universidad del Atlántico al comunicarse en francés. Además, se pretende identificar las posibles razones por las que se producen estos frecuentes errores en el habla de los estudiantes de Lenguas Extranjera, incluso en semestres avanzados y ya egresados. Así mismo, una vez identificadas, se creó un mecanismo que permita el tratamiento de estos errores. Además, se compartió estos resultados con los profesores del departamento francés para concientizarlos sobre este tema y empezar a generar cambios para las futuras generaciones de graduados. Esta población fue sometida a diferentes etapas: observación, realización de actividades de identificación de fonemas con tendencia a fosilizar, cuestionario que busca que ellos mismos den su punto de vista sobre cuáles son sus mayores lagunas en la pronunciación del francés, la aplicación del método correctivo para el mismo y, finalmente, una actividad de verificación final para identificar si existen cambios. La mayoría de los errores son la diferenciación entre los fonemas / b / - / v /, / s / - / z / y la pronunciación correcta de las vocales nasales / ã / - / ɛ / - / ɔ ̃ ̃ /. Por otro lado, se observaron deficiencias en el uso correcto de la liaison. Asimismo, el 50% de los alumnos confirma que estos errores se deben a la falta de enseñanza de la fonética en el programa de Lenguas Extranjeras de la Universidad del Atlántico. Se concluye que la fonética es una rama del idioma que debe enseñarse para mejorar la pronunciación de los estudiantes de lenguas extranjeras y se comparten algunas fichas interactivas con los profesores para que sus alumnos puedan trabajar estos fonemas desde los primeros semestres, evitando así futuras fosilizaciones.	es-ES
