| dc.description | This work aims to delve into the spatial metaphors that young university students create to name the places they frequent on campus and other study sites. The research is qualitative descriptive and is based on the relationship of university students with the space they inhabit during their academic life. The names and the collectively constructed toponymic metaphors were compiled through the narrations that many made about their life in the university. There in those names imaginary and values shared by the students, active subjects that give meaning to places are evident. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabajo pretende ahondar en las metáforas espaciales que crean los jóvenes universitarios para nombrar los lugares que frecuentan en el campus y demás sitios de estudio. La investigación es cualitativa-descriptiva y se basa en la relación de los universitarios con el espacio que habitan durante su vida académica. Se recopilaron los nombres y las metáforas toponímicas construidas colectivamente a través de las narraciones que muchos hicieron sobre su vida en la universidad. Allí en esos nombres se evidencian imaginarios y valores compartidos por los estudiantes, sujetos activos que le dan sentido a los lugares. | es-ES |
