| dc.description | Despite the frequent association between children’s literature and fantasy, in the Colombian context specifically, this kind of literature has also been populated by works that explore and expose a critical sight at the social reality from which children are not exempt: kidnapping, disappearances and forced displacement, poverty, and other hostile situations that children suffer every day. In this sense, the purpose of this work is to examine three of these works, pointing in some narrative strategies used by the authors: the explicit exposition of situations of violence, fiction focused on the inner experience of the child, above the facts; and, the hopeful tendency that is offered in the absence of happy endings. | en-US |
| dc.description | A pesar de la común asociación entre literatura infantil y fantasía, en el contexto colombiano específicamente, esta literatura también ha sido poblada por obras que exploran y exponen una mirada crítica a la realidad social de la cual los niños no están exentos: secuestro, desapariciones y desplazamiento forzado, pobreza, y otras situaciones hostiles que a diario los niños padecen. En ese sentido, el propósito de este trabajo es examinar tres de estas obras, destacando algunas estrategias narrativas utilizadas por los autores: la exposición explícita de situaciones de violencia, la ficción centrada en la vivencia interior del niño, por encima de los hechos; y, el matiz esperanzador que se ofrece en la ausencia de finales felices. | es-ES |
