| dc.description | The objective of the study is to carry out a systematic review of the literature that allows the identification of the contributions of the STEAM methodology in the curricular processes. The PRISMA method was applied. A total of 50 scientific documents were identified. The results of the analysis made it possible to define lines of work, namely: STEAM theoretical foundation in education, STEAM methods for education, contributions of the STEAM methodology to curricular interdisciplinary and teaching skills. It is concluded that the STEAM methodology allows the building of comprehensive, complex and interdisciplinary knowledge through active methodologies that promote the development of critical, creative, reflective, logical thinking and, above all, the development of cognitive processes. | en-US |
| dc.description | El objetivo del estudio consiste en realizar una revisión sistemática de la literatura que permita la identificación de los aportes de la metodología STEAM en los procesos curriculares. Se aplicó el método PRISMA. Se identificaron un total de 50 documentos de carácter científico. Los resultados del análisis permitieron definir cuatro líneas de trabajo, a saber: fundamentación teórica STEAM en educación, métodos STEAM para la educación y aportes de la metodología STEAM tanto a la interdisciplinariedad curricular como a las competencias docentes. Se concluye que la metodología STEAM permite la construcción de un conocimiento integral, complejo e interdisciplinar a través de metodologías activas que promueven el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico, creativo, reflexivo, lógico y sobre todo el desarrollo de los procesos cognoscitivos. | es-ES |
