| dc.description | In the Latin American region, the issues of efficiency in energy consumption and clean energy sources become more important every day, and worldwide, these issues are of great importance because a progressive change in the use of energy is required for reasons such as climate change, polluting emissions and forecasting of a shortage of fossil or non-renewable fuel reserves. The Colombian government is no stranger to these issues, and since 2001, energy efficiency plans have been implemented, creating a nationwide program for the proper use of energy sources that seeks, through analysis of the national energy landscape, the implementation of technical and technological actions that improve energy efficiency in all sectors of the country. This paper shows the study made to the industry of (number of companies) in the beverage sector, which characterized the use of different types of energy such as natural gas and electric energy and the transformation of these in their processes of production, which seeks to determine how efficiently the potential of energy resources is used. Only in the energy consumption for lighting were savings potentials of up to 50% detected. It is also shown how, through legislation and studies conducted under the direction of the Energy Mining Planning Unit, the aim is to have a more competitive industrial sector against international markets, specifically taking the industrial sector of beverage production as a sample. | en-US |
| dc.description | En la región latinoamericana, los temas de eficiencia en el consumo de energía y fuentes de energía limpia cobran cada día más importancia, y a nivel mundial, estos temas son de gran importancia porque se requiere un cambio progresivo en el uso de la energía por razones como el cambio climático, emisiones contaminantes y previsión de escasez de reservas de combustibles fósiles o no renovables. El gobierno colombiano no es ajeno a estos temas, y desde 2001, se han implementado planes de eficiencia energética, creando un programa a nivel nacional para el uso adecuado de las fuentes de energía que busca, a través del análisis del panorama energético nacional, la implementación de acciones técnicas y tecnológicas. que mejoren la eficiencia energética en todos los sectores del país. En este trabajo se muestra el estudio realizado a la industria de (número de empresas) del sector de bebidas, que caracterizó el uso de diferentes tipos de energía como el gas natural y la energía eléctrica y la transformación de estas en sus procesos de producción, que busca determinar la eficiencia con la que se utiliza el potencial de los recursos energéticos. Solo en el consumo de energía para iluminación se detectaron potenciales de ahorro de hasta el 50%. También se muestra cómo, a través de legislación y estudios realizados bajo la dirección de la Unidad de Planeación Minero Energético, se busca tener un sector industrial más competitivo frente a los mercados internacionales, específicamente tomando como muestra el sector industrial de producción de bebidas. | es-ES |
