dc.description	This research article sought to characterize the exodus of Venezuelans to Colombia and particularly to the Municipality of Villa del Rosario - Norte de Santander. The study was guided by the quantitative-descriptive paradigm using a survey that inquired about the causes of abandonment of the country, documentation, housing, access to the health system, employment and access to education, among others. The sample consisted of 115 Venezuelan migrants to whom a survey of 40 items was applied. The results show that the surveyed migrants do not have a decent home to live in and lack the necessary public services to have an acceptable quality of life, in addition they do not have the alternative of accessing basic health services to guarantee their survival in case of serious illness.	en-US
dc.description	El presente artículo de investigación pretendió caracterizar el éxodo de los venezolanos a Colombia y particularmente al Municipio del Villa del Rosario – Norte de Santander. El estudio estuvo orientado por el paradigma cuantitativo – descriptivo utilizando una encuesta que indagó sobre las causas del abandono del país, documentación, vivienda, acceso al sistema de salud, empleo y acceso a la educación, entre otros. La muestra estuvo conformada por 115 migrantes venezolanos a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta de 40 items. Los resultados demuestran que los migrantes encuestados no tienen una vivienda digna donde habitar y carecen de los servicios públicos necesarios para tener una calidad de vida aceptable, a demás no tienen la alternativa de acceder a los servicios de salud básicos para garantizar su sobrevivencia en caso de enfermedad grave.	es-ES
