| dc.description | The globalization policies have driven progress in various socio-cultural and educational areas, in particular, have marked a technological progress by facilitating the teaching of English as a foreign language by proposing other ways to access the language content by using a variety of tools that for the particular case of this article, will treat the Podcast as an educational tool that facilitates the teaching exercise developed by a novice teacher. This paper is a result of the experience that emerged in the space of the primary school teaching practice carried out in a public institution, which aims to present some educational guidelines applied when using the Podcast and its implications in a classroom with a fourth-grade children group by researching the effectiveness and possibilities offered by this artifact in the teaching of English. At this point, the theories of Galan (2018) Solano, (2010), Talero, A. y Elizabeth, S. (2012), and Alvarez (2014) were used to highlight the impact of technology and its pedagogical application in a classroom. In this research, a qualitative look has been taken, for which two instruments were available: the field diary of the practicing teacher and an interview, to assess the effectiveness of the use of this device in the English sessions. As a conclusion, it was evidenced by the improvement of the vocabulary domain a different perception about the use of the podcast, for being a facilitator of the English language domain on a group of elementary students. | en-US |
| dc.description | Las políticas de globalización han impulsado avances en diversos ámbitos socioculturales y educativos, de manera particular han marcado el progreso tecnológico al facilitar la enseñanza del inglés como lengua extranjera, proponiendo otros modos de acceder a los contenidos lingüísticos, utilizando una variedad de herramientas que para el caso particular de este artículo tratará el Podcast como instrumento educativo, facilitador del ejercicio docente desarrollado por un profesor en proceso de formación. Este escrito es producto de la experiencia surgida en el espacio de la práctica docente en primaria llevada a cabo en una institución pública, que pretende presentar algunas pautas educativas aplicadas en el uso del Podcast y sus implicaciones en un salón de clase con niños de cuarto grado de primaria, indagándose acerca de la efectividad y las posibilidades ofrecidas por este artefacto en la enseñanza del inglés. En este punto se partió de las teorías de Galán (2018) Solano, (2010), Talero, A. Y Elizabeth, S. (2012), y Álvarez (2014), por resaltar el impacto de la tecnología y su aplicación pedagógica en un salón de clase. En esta investigación se tuvo una mirada cualitativa para lo cual se dispuso de dos instrumentos: el diario de campo del docente practicante y una entrevista, para valorar la efectividad del uso de este artilugio en las sesiones de inglés. Como conclusión, se evidenció el mejoramiento en cuanto al dominio del vocabulario generando una percepción diferente frente al uso del podcast por ser facilitador del dominio de la lengua inglesa por parte de un grupo de estudiantes de primaria. | es-ES |
