dc.description	The objective of this work is the study of what is called hidden curriculum and how it affects the ethical training of the medical student of the Technical University of the North-Ecuador, it is tried to determine the key points for the professional who has as objective to fulfill the purposes of XXI century medicine. The data collection and the use of the information sources were carried out using the hermeneutical method for the analysis and interpretation of the texts. For this writing the search was made in databases, journals and sections of books that met the search criteria and represent an important contribution to the construction of this writing. The transmission of knowledge through attitudes, values and habits that are given by teachers in medical practice defines the hidden curriculum. A change is proposed in the ethical training of students and medical through reflection on ethical conflicts in clinical practice through the experience of the values of professionalism such as empathy, integrity, solidarity, altruism and confidentiality, which aims to ethical professional behavior that contributes to an improvement in the quality of care.	en-US
dc.description	El objetivo de este trabajo es el estudio de lo que se denomina currículum oculto y como afecta a la formación ética del estudiante de medicina de la Universidad Técnica del Norte- Ecuador. Se intenta determinar los puntos clave para el profesional que tiene como objetivo cumplir con los fines de la medicina del siglo XXI. La recolección de datos y el uso de las fuentes de información se realizaron mediante el método hermenéutico para el análisis e interpretación de los textos. Para este escrito se hizo la búsqueda en las bases de datos, revista y secciones de libros que cumplieron con los criterios de búsqueda y representaran un aporte importante para la construcción del presente escrito. La transmisión de conocimientos por medio de actitudes, valores y hábitos que se dan por parte de los profesores en la práctica médica define el currículum oculto. Se propone un cambio en la formación ética del estudiantes y del estudiante de medicina por medio de la reflexión sobre conflictos éticos en la práctica clínica mediante de la vivencia de los valores del profesionalismo como empatía, integridad, solidaridad, altruismo y confidencialidad que tiene como fin un comportamiento profesional ético que contribuya a una mejora en la calidad asistencial.	es-ES
