| dc.description | This article presents a review of the state of formal and non-formal educational practices related with the ideal of expanded education. These practices are characterized by blurring the lines between formal and non-formal education, being supported by theoretical and practical references of digital culture, promoting interdisciplinary and multigenerational dynamics, advocating for a public and open citizenship approach and insisting on participative and experiential methodology before curricula aspects. Three phases were following for the review. First, a search on ten (10) academic databases was implemented. Second, selection criteria were applied. Third, analysis was stablished by two dimensions: concepts and practices. In the first step, the ideal of expanded education was synthesize according to the available literature. In the second step, practices that designate themselves this way were collected. This article presents some findings of this second analysis dimension. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo hace una revisión del estado de prácticas educativas formales y no formales asociadas a la idea de educación expandida. Este tipo de prácticas se caracterizan por difuminar las distancias entre la educación no formal e informal, apoyarse en referentes teóricos y prácticos de la cultura digital, promover dinámicas interdisciplinares y multigeneracionales, abogar por un enfoque público abierto a la ciudadanía, e insistir metodológicamente por lo participativo y experiencial antes que lo curricular. Para la revisión, tres pasos se siguieron. Primero, se realizó una búsqueda en diez (10) bases de datos académicas. Segundo, se aplicaron criterios de selección. Tercero, se establecieron dos dimensiones de análisis: concepto y prácticas. En el primer caso, se sintetizó la idea de educación expandida según la literatura disponible. En el segundo caso, se recogieron las prácticas que se (auto)denominan así. Este artículo presenta algunos resultados de esa segunda dimensión de análisis. | es-ES |
