dc.description	This paper presents the impact that some social problems have on the performance of university students, particularly when those problems affect emotions. The social problems detected in four students of the English Language Degree are mentioned. Likewise, the follow-up given to the students during different stages of their university studies, from the first two years, the first three years and those who are about to conclude the educational program. It also highlights the academic performance, the care provided through tutoring and the impressions of students in this regard.	en-US
dc.description	El presente trabajo presenta el impacto que algunos problemas sociales provocan en el rendimiento de estudiantes universitarios, particularmente cuando afectan las emociones. Se mencionan los problemas sociales detectados en cuatro estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Lengua Inglesa. Asimismo, el seguimiento dado a los estudiantes durante diferentes etapas de sus estudios universitarios, desde los dos primeros años, los tres primeros años y quienes están por concluir el programa educativo. Además se destaca el rendimiento académico, la atención brindada a través de la tutoría y las impresiones de los estudiantes al respecto.	es-ES
