dc.description	In the present investigation the web 2.0 tools application is demonstrated as a support didactic resource to improve cooperative learning and writing in English. The study case was carried out with a sample of 48 students who are commercial engineering career students from the first level at the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo of Ecuador, same that was divided into two groups, academic blog was used for the experimental group (EG), and their effectiveness was compared with the control group (CG). The information was obtained through the implementation of surveys and test and also through the writing of the autobiography of the students. The results indicate that there is a significant statistical difference (p = 0, 019 ) between the averages of the pretest compared the posttest in the experimental group. (p = 0.00 ) between groups experimental and control with respect to appreciation have on the advantages of cooperative learning when you use the tool Web 2.0 academic Blog. (p = 0.00 *). The use of the academic Blog had a positive impact to improve all aspects evaluated, both the cooperative learning and writing in English, and the general and specific linguistic language level.	en-US
dc.description	En la presente investigación se demuestra la aplicación herramientas web 2.0 como un recurso didáctico de apoyo para mejorar el aprendizaje cooperativo y la escritura en inglés. Se trabajó con una muestra de 48 estudiantes de la carrera de Ingeniería Comercial de primer nivel en la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo del Ecuador, cuya población fue dividida en dos grupos, el blog académico fue utilizado por el grupo experimental (GE), y su eficacia fue comparada con el grupo de control (GC). La información se obtuvo por medio de la aplicación de encuestas como también de un pre test y post test; además a través de la redacción de la autobiografía de los estudiantes. Los resultados indicaron que existen diferencias estadísticas significativas (p=0,019) entre los promedios del pre test comparado con el pos test en el grupo experimental. (p=0.00) entre los grupos experimental y de control con respecto a la apreciación que tienen sobre las ventajas del aprendizaje cooperativo cuando se utiliza la herramienta Web 2.0 Blog académico. (p=0.00*). Al utilizar el Blog Académico existió un impacto positivo y mejoraron todos los aspectos evaluados, tanto en el aprendizaje cooperativo como en la escritura de  inglés; pero también se apreció un mejoramiento en el nivel de lenguaje lingüístico general y específico.	es-ES
