Este trabajo tiene su anclaje en la ética de la compasión de Levinas. Urge recuperar al sujeto de la educación y hacer que sobre él recaiga toda la acción educativa a partir del contexto en el que vive. El carácter singular del ser humano es todavía una deuda pendiente en el discurso pedagógico y en la praxis educativa. Desde la ética de la compasión, la educación es acogida al otro en la singularidad de su existencia; es respuesta responsable al otro en la realidad de su contexto o circunstancia; es memoria de aquellos que nos han precedido y ayudado, desde su testimonio a vivir una vida más humana; es denuncia de las situaciones de injusticia que oprimen a los individuos e impiden una vida justa; y es, finalmente, una actividad atravesada, de principio a fin, por la ética. | es-ES |
