| dc.description | Academic performance is a complex process that could well be considered as an emergent property of an educational system, and where multiple variables intersect. It is this complexity that does not allow the existence of a model that describes it. When speaking in educational systems of academic performance, in general, the data is associated with numerical notes that accredit and promote students. But in the educational literature it is insisted that it is a complex construct and studies of the last decade indicate that the quantitative value would be enriched if some qualitative aspects were also considered. | en-US |
| dc.description | El rendimiento académico es un proceso complejo que bien podría plantearse como una propiedad emergente de un sistema educativo, y donde se entrecruzan múltiples variables. Es esta complejidad lo que no permite la existencia de un modelo que lo describa. Cuando se habla en los sistemas educativos de rendimiento académico, en general, el dato viene asociado a notas numéricas que acreditan y promocionan a los estudiantes. Pero, en la literatura educativa se insiste en que es un constructo complejo y estudios de la última década indican que el valor cuantitativo se vería enriquecido si se consideraran además, algunos aspectos cualitativos. | es-ES |
