dc.description	Emilio Uzcátegui García (Quito, 1900 - 1986), educator, composer, athlete, playwright, writer, columnist, professor, philosopher, politician and historian; is one of the greatest pedagogical references that the education sector in the country has had. His work and thought, evidenced in his more than 40 books, have turned out to be a contribution in politics, psychopedagogy, history, didactics, which with a marked Marxist tendency have also managed to be a criticism of society and governments of those contexts that can easily to be coupled to the current reality, since many of the issues dealt with in his works continue in the problematic of the Ecuadorian communities. From its political participation it manages the conformation of the National Union of Educators, motivating the unionization of the teaching profession; and the structuring of this also intervenes in the constitution of its brazopolítico, the Popular Democratic Movement.	en-US
dc.description	Emilio Uzcátegui García (Quito, 1900 – 1986), educador, compositor, atleta, dramaturgo, escritor, columnista, catedrático, filósofo, político e historiador; es uno de los mayores referentes pedagógicos que ha tenido el sector de la educación en el país. Su trabajo y pensamiento, evidenciados en sus más de 40 libros, han resultado ser un aporte en política, psicopedagogía, historia, didáctica, que con marcada tendencia marxista han logrado además ser una crítica a la sociedad y a los gobiernos de aquellos contextos que fácilmentepueden ser acoplados a la realidad actual, pues mucho de los temas tratados en sus obras sigue en la problemática de las comunidades ecuatorianas. De su participación política gestiona la conformación de la Unión Nacional de Educadores, motivando la sindicalización del magisterio; y de la estructuración de éste también interviene en la constitución de su brazopolítico, el Movimiento Popular Democrático.	es-ES
