| dc.description | The book chapter on which this critical review is based is related to an educational theme that is relevant to today's world, in which the act of educating is developed by the author Julio César Arboleda. This will present the fundamental ideas that make up the text, raising my point of view in front of someof them; finally, I will present some personal ideas raised with respect to this topic. Before delving into the structural question of the text, Arboleda presents a differentiation between what is a training by competencies and a formation by understandings, to finally arrive at the implications that entails a formation for life based on a constructive understanding. In this order of ideas, a competency-based training ensures the increase of the levels of profitability and productivity within the utilitarian dynamics (a term that initially alluded to the well-being of human beings, which unfortunately has been distorted due to the dynamics of the market, linked to the construction and consolidation of a consumerist, capitalist and increasingly cold society). The training under this construct has very little relationship and interest with educating for the development of the person as a human being, their training in ethical values and attitudes for work. | en-US |
| dc.description | El capítulo de libro en el cual se basa esta reseña crítica compete a un tema educativo pertinente para el mundo actual, en el que se desarrolla el acto de educar tratado por el autor Julio César Arboleda. En esta se presentarán las ideas fundamentales que componen el texto, planteando mi punto de vista frente a algunasde ellas; finalmente, expondré algunas ideas personales suscitadas con respecto a esta temática. Antes de adentrarse en la cuestión estructural del texto, Arboleda presenta una diferenciación entre lo que es una formación por competencias y una formación por comprensiones, para llegar finalmente a las implicaciones que conlleva una formación para la vida basamentada en una comprensión edificadora. En este orden de ideas, una formación por competencias asegura el incremento de los niveles de rentabilidad y productividad dentro de la dinámica utilitarista (término que inicialmente aludía al bienestar de los seres humanos, el cual lamentablemente ha sido tergiversado debido a las dinámicas del mercado, ligadas a la construcción y consolidación de una sociedad consumista, capitalista y cada vez más fría). La formación bajo este constructo tiene muy poca relación e interés con educar para el desarrollo de la persona como ser humano, su formació en valores y actitudes éticas para el trabajo. | es-ES |
