dc.description	One of the difficulties of the students in the process of teaching and learning of mathematics is in inproblem solving and this is often due to the lack of development of their mathematical reasoning. Research has been conducted in which implemented a program of cognitive learning strategies to students of third year of secondary school of the Education Unit “Santa Mariana de Jesus” of the city of Riobamba-Ecuador. In this work is to share in the form of the results, as well as the program with the description of several activities and examples. It is concluded that the implementation of the program of cognitive instructional strategies improved the development of mathematical reasoning of the students and is recommended for your application the active participation of the students	en-US
dc.description	Una de las dificultades que presentan los estudiantes en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de la Matemática está en la resolución de problemas. Se debe a menudo a la falta de desarrollo de su razonamiento matemático. Se ha realizado una investigación en la cual se aplicó un programa de estrategias didácticas cognitivas a estudiantes de tercer año de bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa “Santa Mariana de Jesús” de la ciudad de Riobamba-Ecuador. En este trabajo se pretende compartir en forma breve los resultados, así como el programa en mención con la descripción de varias actividades y ejemplos. Se concluye que la aplicación del programa de estrategias didácticas cognitivas mejoró el desarrollo del razonamiento matemático de las estudiantes y se recomienda para su aplicación la participación activa de los estudiantes.	es-ES
