| dc.description | The formation of an integral and competent professional is the highest aspiration of the professors stand who intervene in the educational process of the Law Course at the Las Tunas University. However, its practical concretion constitutes an epistemological challenge. This research bases the need to perfect the methodological preparation and legal updating of university teachers and leads us to propose guidelines for an educational strategy aimed at its ongoing training in the teaching of law. We analyze why this training should be incorporated into a strategy to the definition of teaching work itself. No doubt, the university professor in addition to mastering the science to which it is linked, must know the essential categories, components and pedagogical laws that govern the educational process, being able to protect it integrally. | dc.description | La formación de un profesional integral y competente es la más alta aspiración del claustro de profesores que intervienen en el proceso educacional de la Carrera de Derecho en la Universidad de Las Tunas. Sin embargo, su concreción práctica constituye un reto epistemológico. Esta investigación fundamenta la necesidad de perfeccionar la preparación metodológica y actualización jurídica del docente universitario, y nos conduce a proponer pautas para una estrategia educativa dirigida a su formación continua en cuanto a la enseñanza del Derecho. Se analiza el por qué debe incorporarse dicha formación como estrategia a la definición misma del trabajo docente. No cabe dudas que el profesor universitario, además de dominar la ciencia a la que se vincula, debe conocer las categorías esenciales, los componentes y leyes pedagógicas que rigen el proceso docente educativo, pudiendo tutelarlo integralmente. Se hace ineludible potenciar la capacidad de liderazgo y el papel protagónico de los juristas docentes, a partir de las condiciones y exigencias de los contextos en los que se encuentra hoy la Universidad cubana. | es-ES |
