| dc.description | Many are the reforms that are being carried out in the field of education, and particularly in secondary education in both Latin America and Cuba. Although many believe that the problem that exists at this level of education is not solved with curricular reforms, there is an agreement on the part of researchers in the need for changes in the curriculum that will enable responses to the new demands of science, technology and Society, and psycho-pedagogical paradigms. On the other hand the problem is the need to have an adequate conceptualization of curriculum and curricular design by the teachers in charge of materializing the changes. In practice, it is ultimately up to them to make the aspirations for such changes come true. This is why this article offers some theoretical aspects about the curriculum and in particular on curriculum design, highlighting the practical importance of design, particularizing in the area of science. | en-US |
| dc.description | Muchas son las reformas que se están realizando en el campo de la educación, particularmente en la enseñanza secundaria, tanto en Iberoamérica como en Cuba. Aunque muchos piensan que el problema que existe en este nivel educativo no se resuelve con reformas curriculares, hay un acuerdo por parte de los investigadores en la necesidad de llevar a cabo cambios en el currículo que viabilicen las respuestas a lasnuevas exigencias de la ciencia, la tecnología y la sociedad, así como a los paradigmas psicopedagógicos. Por otra parte, la problemática reside también en la necesidad de tener una adecuada conceptualización de currículo y diseño curricular por parte de los docentes encargados de materializar los cambios. En la práctica son ellos, en última instancia, quienes posibilitan que las aspiraciones de tales cambios se hagan realidad. Es por ello que en este artículo se ofrecen algunos aspectos teóricos sobre el currículo y en particular sobre el diseño curricular, destacando la importancia práctica del diseño, particularizando en el área de ciencias. | es-ES |
