dc.description	"To be heard": Perhaps this is the most felt need for many of us, also for the inmates of the prisons.Take a look around us is enough to observe the deep loneliness that is the man of our time. The hurry, the vertigo of our life, the superficiality of our communication, the isolation sought and the individualistic conception of life impede the attitude of listening and openness to the other for whom there is no place in our time and in our occupation. The relationships of the man of our time are marked by profitability and efficiency. Nothing is free, everything has a price. The relationship with the other is framed in a relationship of power, of dominion, often impregnated with distrust, with suspicion. It is not the other, as "someone", the interlocutor, but a common object to possess and dominate. Changing this dynamic or logic of in-communication requires a turnCopernican to our conception of man, to our concept of the other and of ourselves; it means to understand ourselves as in-sufficient beings, in need of the other to be "someone", a moral subject, that is, responsible (capable of taking charge or responding to something or someone); it implies seeing us from the other, from the "other shore"; see the picture of our life from the perspective of the other in which he finds his vision and fullest sense.Man is a being essentially in need of the other in order to exist as a human being. To listen to the other, to open up to the other is to act as a human being.	en-US
dc.description	“Ser escuchados”: Quizás sea esta la necesidad más sentida para muchos de nosotros, también para los internos de los centros penitenciarios. Echar una mirada a nuestro alrededor es suficiente para observar la profunda soledad en la que se encuentra el hombre de nuestro tiempo. La prisa, el vértigo de nuestra vida, la superficialidad de nuestra comunicación, el aislamiento buscado y la concepción individualista de la vida impiden la actitud de escucha y apertura al otro para quien no hay lugar en nuestro tiempo y en nuestra ocupación.   Las relaciones del hombre de nuestro tiempo están marcadas por la rentabilidad y la eficacia. Nada es gratuito, todo tiene un precio. La relación con el otro se enmarca en una relación de poder, de dominio, a menudo impregnada de desconfianza, de sospecha. No es el otro, como “alguien”, el interlocutor, sino un objeto común a poseer y dominar. Cambiar esta dinámica o lógica de la in-comunicación exige dar un giro copernicano a nuestra concepción del hombre, a nuestro concepto del otro y de nosotros mismos; supone entendernos como seres in-suficientes, necesitados del otro para ser “alguien”, sujeto moral, es decir, responsable (capaz de hacerse cargo o responder de algo o de alguien); implica vernos desde el otro, desde la “otra orilla”; ver el cuadro de nuestra vida desde la perspectiva del otro en la que encuentra su visión y sentido más pleno. El hombre es un ser esencialmente necesitado del otro para existir como humano. Escuchar al otro, abrirse al otro es ejercer de humano.	es-ES
