| dc.description | The teach for democracy and the access to progress have been two essential axes in the way in which the school was built in the Latin-American context. Thistext invites us to understand the arrival of scholar building in the background of the national states, around the settled of the new republics of the 19th century.Furthermore, we review how education has transformed itself along the time with the ideas of progress, national state evolution and the new interpretations about the development. | dc.description | La educación para la democracia y el acceso al progreso han sido dos ejes fundamentales del discurso educativo colonizado con que nuestra escuela fue construida. Este texto pretende acercarse a la comprensión de la llegada del edificio escolar al entramado institucional de las nacientes repúblicas del siglo XIX y a las lógicas con las que se ha transformado el discurso educativo a partir de las ideas de progreso, la evolución del Estado nacional y las nuevas interpretaciones sobre el desarrollo que se han gestado en Latinoamérica. Abordaremos los pormenores acerca de cómo las ideas de educación y progreso fueron determinantes para la construcción de un país homogéneo, frente a las tensiones propias de nuestras diversidades ancestrales. | es-ES |
