dc.description	The article traces the notions of gnothiseauton, "self-knowledge," and epimeleiaheautou, "self-care," in the plotinian theory of Enneads I, focusing on the treatises on happiness and virtues. To expose this conceptual analysis the textbegins from a Foucaultian reading of the concepts of knowledge and self-care, in order to trace a fabric of relationships that evidences a connection between the Socratic figure and the subsequent reception of these problems in Plato under the notion of anamnesis.From this historical framework, the text shows the way in which Plotinus inherits this concern for the self in his own theory.	en-US
dc.description	El artículo realiza un rastreo de las nociones de gnothi seauton, «conocimiento de sí», y epimeleia heautou, «cuidado de sí» en la teoría plotiniana de las Enéadas I, centrándose en los tratados sobre la felicidad y las virtudes. Para exponer este análisis conceptual se parte desde una lectura foucaultiana de los conceptos de conocimiento y cuidado de sí, para desde allí trazar un tejido de relaciones que evidencia una conexión entre la figura socrática, figura en la cual nace la preocupación por el cuidado y conocimiento de sí, la posterior recepción de estos problemas en Platón bajo la noción de anamnesis, para, desde este marco histórico, mostrar el modo en que Plotino hereda esta preocupación por el sí mismo en su propia teoría.	es-ES
