| dc.description | The purpose of this paper is to analyze the socio-political implications that the epistemologies of the South have for the Colombian context. These epistemologies are understood from the field of education, under the utopic horizon of human rights, according to Susana Sacavino in his work: Education for human rights and peace: pedagogies from the South. Her thesis here is particularly useful in our context and it’s relevant to understand how “a renewed awareness of these rights and their implementation from education […] is more revolutionary and effective than other efforts at socio-political militancy in other fields” (Casaldàliga and Vigil (, 2014, p. 11). To develop this theme, this paper will be divided into three major parts and six chapters. The first part will include the socio-analytic mediation that rehabilitates the critical role of education, on the basis of a brief view of some of the main pedagogical ideas that have taken place in history. The second part will understand the hermeneutic mediation, doing an analysis that seeks to identify the utopic sense of human rights. Finally, with the third part it will be possible to understand the practical implications of the two previous parts, that is, the social implications that come from the pedagogies of the South and the utopian perspective of human rights, to the education in the current context. | en-US |
| dc.description | El propósito del siguiente trabajo es analizar las implicaciones sociopolíticas que tienen para el contexto colombiano las epistemologías del sur, entendidas desde el ámbito educativo, bajo el horizonte utópico de los Derechos Humanos, según Susana Sacavino, en su obra Educación para los Derechos Humanos y la paz: pedagogías desde el Sur. La tesis que se va a defender es que la propuesta de esta autora, resulta de especial utilidad en nuestro contexto y es relevante para comprender como “una renovada toma de conciencia de estos derechos y su implementación desde la educación, en la correspondiente armazón jurídico-social, es algo revolucionariamente más efectivo que muchos esfuerzos de militancia sociopolítica en otros campos” (Casaldaliga y Vigíl, 2014, p. 11). Para desarrollar este tema, el texto será dividido en tres grandes partes que a su vez, se condensan en seis capítulos. La primera parte comprenderá la mediación socio-analítica que rehabilita la función crítica de la educación, partiendo de un breve recorrido por algunas de las principales ideas pedagógicas que han tenido lugar en la historia. La segunda parte, comprenderá la mediación hermenéutica, haciendo un análisis que busque identificar el sentido utópico de los derechos humanos. Finalmente, la tercera parte, comprenderá, la mediación práxica de los dos anteriores momentos, es decir, las implicaciones sociales que, desde las pedagogías del sur y la perspectiva utópica de los Derechos Humanos, devienen para la acción educativa en el contexto actual. | es-ES |
