dc.description	The present ethnographic essay reveals the quotidian forms of the Ingarikó (Kapon) that inhabit the Circum-Roraima region (Brazil). The mediation between the literature and the statements of the Ingarikó during fieldwork (1999-2002) allows the observation of situations of contact between this indigenous people and other peoples as well as their political strategies regarding the national society. From this dynamic relationship, the Ingarikó have preserved elements of their traditional culture while absorbing new elements. The Ingarikó are social actors, together with the Macushi, Taurepang and Patamona, in the socio-spatial relations that make up the indigenous land known as Raposa Serra do Sol.	en-US
dc.description	O presente ensaio etnográfico mostra formas cotidianas dos Ingarikó (Kapon) que habitam a região do Circum-Roraima (Brasil). A mediação entre a literatura e o depoimento dos Ingarikó, ocorrida durante a experiência de campo (1999-2002), permite visualizar situações de contato desses índios com diferentes povos e suas estratégias de organização política ante a sociedade nacional. Dessa relação dinâmica são colhidos elementos da cultura tradicional por elespreservados e novos elementos por eles absorvidos. Os Ingarikó colocam-se como atores juntamente com os Makuxi, os Taurepang e os Patamona no enfrentamento das relações socioespaciais que configuram a Terra Indígena Raposa Serra do Sol.	pt-BR
