dc.description	The South Atlantic, in recent years, has grown in importance on the international scene because of the possibility of extraction of natural resources and use of maritime routes. Considering this context, the article aimed at analyzing the presence of the main actors in this region, as well as the United Nations Declaration that established a Zone of Peace and Cooperation in the South Atlantic in 1986.	en-US
dc.description	O Atlântico Sul, nos últimos anos, tem crescido em importância no cenário internacional, devido à possibilidade de extração de recursos naturais e aproveitamento de rotas marítimas. Considerando tal contexto, o artigo propõe analisar a presença dos principais atores nesta região, bem como a declaração das Nações Unidas que instituiu uma Zona de Paz e Cooperação no Atlântico Sul, em 1986.	pt-BR
