dc.description	The objective of this paper is to discuss the urgency of evaluating the bilingual model, Mexican Sign Language (LSM) and Spanish, implemented for the deaf community. And to know the results of the schools that adopted this model in: the acquisition of LSM; the teaching of Spanish as a second language in its written form; and to promote deaf identity. Y conocer los resultados de las escuelas que adoptaron este modelo en: la adquisición de la LSM; la enseñanza del español como segunda lengua en su forma escrita; y en favorecer la identidad sorda.
