dc.description	This article presents partial results of a qualitative study that, through the grounded theory method and with the experience of a group of mayan peasant families, generated the category of agroecological community education. The objective of this text is to describe agroecological community education and its components, which can be understood as the usual dynamics of community life that includes teaching-learning processes, whose main technique is learning by doing, where theoretical and practical knowledge are shared at the same time (or almost at the same time), then for both educators and learners, knowledge becomes tangible immediately. It is necessary to say that not only aspects related to food production are included, that is not the reason for calling it agroecological, but rather because the agro world and its link with ecology (understood as the different ways in which beings live related to each other and to their environment) are so encompassing and at the same time deep that reach to touch different dimensions of both, individuality and collectivity, of peasant families.	en-US
dc.description	En este artículo se presentan los resultados parciales de un estudio cualitativo que, a través del método de investigación fundamentada y con la experiencia de un grupo de familias campesinas mayas, generó la categoría de educación comunitaria agroecológica. El objetivo de este texto es describir la educación comunitaria agroecológica y con sus componentes, que puede ser entendida como aquella dinámica habitual de la vida comunal que comprende procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje, cuya técnica principal es el aprender haciendo. En ésta se comparten conocimientos teóricos y prácticos al mismo tiempo (o casi al mismo tiempo), de forma que, tanto para los educadores como para los aprendices, los conocimientos se vuelven tangibles de manera inmediata. Aunque es necesario decir que no solamente se incluyen aspectos relacionados con la producción de alimentos, esa no es la razón de apellidarla agroecológica, sino más bien porque el mundo agro y su vínculo con la ecología (entendida como las diferentes maneras en las que los seres vivos se relacionan entre sí y con su entorno) son tan abarcadores y a la vez profundos que alcanzan a tocar diferentes dimensiones tanto de la individualidad como de la colectividad de las familias campesinas.	es-ES
