dc.description	This article presents the results of the archaeological excavation at the Rio Ivinhema 1 site, located in the district of Porto Caiuá, Naviraí municipality, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Although the site has suffered several impacts over time, the results obtained were outstanding. The zone that we consider the center of the settlement is formed by a large area of kitchens, where multiple fireplaces form a great profusion of dugouts, ashes, pottery fragments, and food remains. In light of the results, we try to situate Rio Ivinhema 1 in the Tupiguarani archaeological context of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, trying to relate the great variety in pottery decorations to the movements of the Tupi people from the coast to the inland region in colonial times. Chronologically, this is sustained by radiocarbon dating.	en-US
dc.description	Apresentamos aqui os resultados das escavações arqueológicas empreendidas no sítio Rio Ivinhema 1, situado no distrito de Porto Caiuá, município de Naviraí, Mato Grosso do Sul. Ainda que o sítio tenha sofrido diversos impactos ao longo do tempo, os resultados obtidos foram surpreendentes. A área que consideramos o centro do assentamento é formada por uma grande superfície de cozinhas, onde múltiplas fogueiras se desdobram, formando uma grande profusão de carvões, cinzas, fragmentos de cerâmica e restos de alimentação. Sob a luz dos resultados, tratamos de situar o Rio Ivinhema 1 no contexto arqueológico tupiguarani do estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, buscando relacionar a grande variedade nas formas decorativas dos recipientes com movimentos dos povos Tupi do litoral para as terras interioranas em tempos já coloniais, cronologia esta confirmada por datação radiocarbônica.	pt-PT
