dc.description	The arrival of Europeans in America is a turning point in Native American research because we can incorporate the study of material culture and written sources. It is therefore necessary to establish a critical dialogue between archaeology and history that allows us to overcome the limitations present in both disciplines and strengthen their virtues. This paper aims to contextualize the data provided by historical and archaeological sources to understand the multifaceted social reality of the Teotihuacan Valley between 1500 and 1650 A.D.	en-US
dc.description	La llegada de los europeos a América supone un punto de inflexión para la investigación de los nativos americanos al poder incorporar al estudio de su cultura material la información procedente de los textos escritos. Es por ello necesario establecer un diálogo crítico entre la arqueología y la historia que nos permita superar las limitaciones y potenciar las virtudes que ambas disciplinas presentan. En este trabajo se pretende contextualizar los datos proporcionados por las fuentes históricas y arqueológicas para comprender la poliédrica realidad social del Valle de Teotihuacan entre 1500 y 1650 d.
