| dc.description | En el ejemplo de la población indígena amazónica denominada Yaminahua se discuten los conceptos de identidad y alteridad que se practican en algunas sociedades étnicas de la agrupación Pano, considerando los intercambios y las relaciones interétnicas dentro de esa agrupación "etnolingüística", con otros pueblos indígenas fuera de la misma y con los "blancos", así como las alianzas matrimoniales (entre "enemigos" potenciales), las relaciones entre "vecinos" y entre parientes, y los constantes procesos de escisión dentro de gran parte de los Pano. Se examinan la aceptación de identificaciones por otros como auto-identificación así como la clasificación étnico-social de otras poblaciones pano hablantes, ambas bastante diferenciadas y complejas, en análisis detallados del concepto "nawa" y de designaciones étnico-sociales que combinan éste con otros elementos, no como construcciones etnológicas, sino como recursos sociales de los propios pueblos indígenas, bajo varias condiciones específicas de la constitución identitaria de sus núcleos sociales. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Taking as an example the indigenous Amazonian people known as the Yaminahua, this article discusses the concepts of identity and change found in some ethnic communities of the Pano group, considering the exchanges and the interethnic relationships within this "ethnolinguistic" group, with other indigenous peoples and with "Whites", as well as matrimonial alliances (between potential "enemies"), the relationships between "neighbours" and between relatives, and the constant schisms within a large section of the Pano. The author analyses the recognition of identifications by others as auto-identification and the ethnic-social classification of other Pano-speaking populations, both variable and complex, through analyses of the "nawa" concept and of ethnic-social designations that connect this concept with other elements, not as ethnological constructions, but as social resources of the indigenous peo-ples themselves, under various specific conditions concerning the construction of identity of their social nuclei. | en-US |
