| dc.description | Esta contribución examina, en el caso de Chile, desde diferentes puntos de vista, los procesos históricos y los desarrollos recientes y actuales en la formación y "erosión" de la identidad nacional así como las transformaciones entre y dentro de identidades sociales múltiples y superpuestas. Partiendo desde la articulación de la voluntad de unidad y de la construcción del discurso histórico (y del territorio homogéneo del Estado), revisa los discursos dentro de las ciencias sociales entre globalización y diversidad así como las actitudes históricas en contra de la diversidad, y analiza la crisis de la idea del Estado Nacional y la creciente fragmentación identitaria. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This contribution, which focuses on Chile, examines from a variety of perspectives the historical processes and recent developments in the formation and "erosion" of national identity as well as the transformations among multiple overlapping social identities. Starting with the articulation of the will of unity and the construction of the historical discourse (and the homogeneous territory of the state), it reviews the discourses within the social sciences with regard to globalisation versus diversity as well as the historical attitudes concerning diversity, and analyses the crisis of the idea of the nation state and the growing fragmentation of identities. | en-US |
