dc.description	This article analyses the Chilean dictatorship’s process of fascistization in the light of one of the most important rallies of the Pinochet regime: the youth mass gatherings at the top of Chacarillas hill organized by the National Unity Youth Front and supported by the National Youth Secretariat. Using several documentary sources and the biographic memory of some of their creators and participants, this work identifies the origin of these youth organisations and how they were related to state youths with fascist roots, particularly those of Franco’s regime. It also offers a reconstruction and an interpretation of the Chacarillas ritual ceremonies, examining their impact and relevance as an attempt by the Pinochet regime to spread a palingenetic narrative in order to institutionalize a political religion articulated by the cult and sacralization of youth.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo analiza el proceso de fascistización de la dictadura chilena a la luz de una de las manifestaciones colectivas más espectacularizadas por parte del régimen: los actos de masas juveniles en el cerro Chacarillas organizados por el Frente Juvenil de Unidad Nacional y apoyados por la Secretaría Nacional de la Juventud. A través de diversas fuentes documentales y la memoria biográfica de algunos de sus creadores y participantes, el trabajo identifica el origen y las relaciones de estas orgánicas juveniles con las juventudes de Estado de raíz fascista –particularmente las del régimen de Franco–, a la vez que reconstruye e interpreta las ceremonias rituales de Chacarillas como amplificación de una narrativa palingenésica del régimen de Pinochet y como tentativa de institucionalización de una religión política articulada por el culto y sacralización de la juventud.	es-ES
