| dc.description | In this article, the authors analyze Claudia Llosa’s second film The Milk of Sorrow (2009) through the categories of trauma, its “embodiment”, and isolation, taking into account parallelisms with Claudia Llosa’s first film, Madeinusa (2005), where the isolation of the Andean town is a key factor in the fate of the protagonist. In The Milk of Sorrow, Fausta, also a female character, embodies the trauma caused by a heteronormative patriarchy of Andean and National origin accordingly. Her traumatic memory is tied to the isolated environment where she subsists. It is arguable that Llosa proposes that healing and insertion in a changing and dynamic city are only possible through breaking of the isolation, and liberating the individual from social and past constrictions. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este artículo los autores analizan la película de Claudia Llosa, La teta asustada (2009) a partir de las categorías de trauma (encarnamiento) y aislamiento. Para esto también se planteará un paralelismo con su primera película, Madeinusa (2005), donde el aislamiento del pueblo andino es un factor determinante para el devenir del personaje de Made. En La teta asustada, el personaje de Fausta es sujeto de un trauma causado por un patriarcado heteronormativo de origen andino y nacional. Este trauma crece y se expande en el ambiente aislado en el que el personaje subsiste. Será con el quiebre de este aislamiento como el individuo se liberará del trauma, se hará consciente de su propia individualidad y podrá renegociar así su pertenencia al cuerpo social de la ciudad. | es-ES |
