| dc.description | We propose to analyze the participation of the short film in the Argentine modern cinema, in order to verify its early promoter role in the renewal but with the ultimate aim to transcend the traditional concept that postulates the short film as a mere stepping stone to feature films. The Argentine short film within the period 1950-1976 brought together various forms and functions, whether aesthetic or political. Putting into context the short film in different national cinemas in the world during that same stage supports our premises. | en-US |
| dc.description | Nos proponemos analizar la participación del cortometraje en el cine moderno argentino, con el objetivo de constatar su papel de impulsor inicial de la renovación pero con el fin último de trascender la concepción tradicional que promueve al film de corta duración como mero trampolín hacia el largometraje. El film breve argentino del período 1950-1976 aglutinó diversas modalidades y funciones, ya sea estéticas o políticas. La puesta en contexto del cortometraje en diferentes cinematografías del mundo durante esta misma etapa sustenta nuestras premisas. | es-ES |
