dc.description	The religious poetry of the Golden Age destined to sing is not usually understood from its own specificity. In the following pages my purpose is first, to show which is the peculiarity of the poetry of circumstances. When considering the complementary role of poetry with the sermon (both forming part of a broader framework intermedia) it may cover all religious poetry in vernacular languages, and cluster the pieces of this universe by the three rhetorical genres. And second, to observe the difference in density of production genres in urban areas relative to rural, allowing us to venture some hypotheses about the interaction of those who have been involved in the communication process. All this primarily in Charcas, but also in other territories of the Viceroyalty of Peru.	en-US
dc.description	No suele comprenderse la poesía religiosa del Siglo de Oro destinada al canto desde su propia especificidad. En estas páginas me propongo: primero, mostrar qué es lo peculiar de esta poesía de circunstancias. Al considerarla en función complementaria con el sermón (formando ambas parte de un entramado intermedial más amplio) es posible abarcar toda la poesía religiosa en lenguas vernáculas, y agrupar las piezas de este universo según los tres géneros retóricos. Segundo, observar la diferencia de densidades de producción de géneros en el ámbito urbano en relación con el rural, lo que permite aventurar algunas hipótesis sobre la interacción de quienes han intervenido en el proceso comunicativo. Todo ello ante todo en Charcas, pero incluyendo también otros espacios del Virreinato del Perú.	es-ES
